Southern Maryland Wine Growers Cooperative (SMWGC) was formed in 2007 as the region began to transition away from tobacco production to other agricultural pursuits. The SMWGC formed as the first agricultural cooperative in the state of Maryland leading the way for viticulture and future wineries. SMWGC operates the Port of Leonardtown Winery, the first commercial winery in St. Mary's County. Free State Ciders is a family-owned Maryland winery, established in 2017, specializing in hard apple ciders. They use the highest quality apples harvested exclusively from family-owned farms in Maryland. (2 bottles of Hard Apple Cider)

WJ DENT & SONS began operations in 1927 as Bailey's Store and has been owned by several families including the Bailey's, the Garner's, and the Sheaffer's. When William J "Chief" Dent retired from the US Navy in 1964, he began working for John Sheaffer. In 1978, Chief, along with his wife, Jo, purchased the store from Grace and John Sheaffer. Now David, Chief’s son and the 3rd generation of Dents continue the legacy of this quaint country store. The store features Andy's Butcher Shop and Deli and Chief's - Your Neighborhood Bar. The deli features Andy's famous Southern Maryland Stuffed Ham year-round. ($50 gift certificate)

The Patuxent River Naval Air Museum (PRNAM) is a member-supported, privately funded museum preserving the history and heritage of Naval Aviation and associated technology, with the mission is to “Preserve, Educate, Inspire” by presenting the continuing story of Naval Aviation with a focus on Research, Development, Testing, and Evaluation (RDT&E) at Naval Air Station Patuxent River.
