Description
This colorful, abstract painting by Dr. Matt TenEyck ('98) was created through the art of “liquid painting.” Instead of working with classical tools, the colors are applied to the canvas in a liquid state. The result is impressive... and quite unpredictable. Each mixed shade has its own density, causing the colors to displace each other and cell patterns of different sizes are created when they meet. These are unpredictable and give each finished work of art its own fascination. The swipe technique used in this piece is suitable for conjuring great cell effects and fluid movement.
The painting is approximately 3' x 16" and can be displayed vertically or horizontally.
