Description
One day I made a quilt using favorite silks and special yarns from my stash and decorative points on my sewing machine. It looked alright, though I felt something was missing. But what? Did it need more color? A bit of red? Some applique? Hand embroidery? Curved lines across all the verticals? Lettering? Some clear space? In the end I added all of the above. And I think it looks better. The words are German, as that is my mother tongue, but also because the English would be too long. The ends of yarn are hanging over the edge. I like that. But they could be just cut off if they are in the way.
