Description
After experiencing the total solar eclipse in 2017, I knew I had to see the next one. We traveled to Texas in April, but as April 8 approached, we worried about the weather forecast, which predicted deteriorating conditions for solar viewing. But in the end, the weather cooperated. After a cloudy start, the clouds parted just in time for us to see totality, total darkness, and just the sun's corona shining out from behind the moon. Such a marvelous experience, and likely the last time in my lifetime I'll see this magical spectacle in the sky.
