Description
Breaking Through is applicable anytime we feel in a swirl of darkness and find the bits and pieces within ourselves to overcome it. This art quilt uses the same fabrics, but in confetti style, that were used in a larger pieced work titled Perseverance: Muddling Through. The larger work was made during the pandemic and evokes the feeling of being closed in. As I stitched the first piece, I considered the possibilities of a similar design in different styles. This confetti style quilt is the second in the series.
