Art for the Park is the signature fundraising event for the MPHS Foundation. Money raised this week through our silent auction online and our in person event will go to help support the Foundation's programs and mission.
Join Us
March 18 from 7:30 PM - 10:30 PM
BoPlex at Bojangles Coliseum
We are excited to be back in person so come join us for live music, food and both silent and live auctions. We have great artwork from local artists and MPHS students to bid on! All silent auction pieces can be bid on from home starting March 12.
We have two Live Auction items this year that should not be missed:
1) Two tickets to the US Presidents Cup Tournament for Saturday, September 24, 2022
2) A Dinner for 8 with Chef Brewer and the new Principal, Mr Folk. This dinner is always delicious and never disappoints!
Buy your tickets now to come to the in person event!
You all play a critical role in our success and the success of the students. We are incredibly grateful for our Corporate Sponsors, Patrons of the Park and everyone who makes a donation and bids on a piece of art.
The Foundation's mission is to enhance the educational experience of every Myers Park Student by expanding opportunity, addressing unmet needs and funding innovation. Myers Park High School is a diverse student body that excels in many areas from academics, to the arts and athletics. However, nearly 1000 students are considered to be at risk and do not have the adequate resources for success. They face poverty, homelessness or other incredible social challenges and without the extra support many would not graduate.
Currently, the Foundation provides funding to support 2 full-time coordinators from Communities in Schools who work daily with some of the most critically underserved students at Myers Park. The Foundation also supports programs such as Mustangs Matter, the AVID program and partners with E2D, a program that ensures all students have access to at-home technology.
