The Art in the Beartooths (AIB) fundraiser for the Carbon County Arts Guild & Depot Gallery is an annual event featuring two components; a Silent Auction Art Exhibition with all the work sold online and an in-person Quick Finish Live Auction event. All proceeds from both auctions help support the Carbon County Arts Guild programs, exhibitions, scholarships, and educational outreach.
For the AIB Silent Auction Exhibition view spectacular art from local and regional artists July 13-August 5, 2024. The artwork will be on view at the Depot Gallery located at 11 W. 8th Street in Red Lodge. Bidding for the Silent Auction Exhibition is done in silent auction fashion online through Handbid.

You don’t need to attend the opening preview, quick finish or be a Guild member to bid. If you can't get to Red Lodge to see the silent auction art in person, you can still join the excitement by viewing the auction art on Handbid using a mobile device, tablet, computer or laptop.

Saturday, July 13 – 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Silent Auction Exhibition Opening Reception
Enjoy appetizers and beverages. Mingle with the artists. Participate in a wine pull or a raffle to support educational programming and the mission of the Arts Guild while listening to live music courtesy of Grizzly Peak Pickers.
The Silent Auction Exhibition Opening Reception is free and open to the public! Bidding on all items in the silent auction goes live at 3 p.m. (MDT). Items in the Silent Auction start at a modest level and the highest bidder at the close of the auction at 7:00 p.m. August 5, wins!
Saturday, August 3 – 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Quick Finish and Live Auction
Join us at Red Lodge Ales Event Center where you can watch 20 artists from the region create and put finishing touches on their art. Wander the grounds while enjoying complimentary mimosas, food catered by Wild Table, and live music by Cory Johnson. A cash bar will be available. At 12:45 p.m. we will auction off the work created.
Quick Finish artists include: Cate Allen, Ty Barhaug, Carol Barmore, Maggie Bassett, Elliott Eaton, Bonnie Zahn Griffith, Carol Hartman, Lance Johnson, John Kennedy, Brenna Kimbro, Mike Koski, Michael Kosorok, Tess Lehman, Bruce Marty, Janice Polzin, Cliff Rossberg, Ron Ukrainetz, Lee Walker, Tom Wolfe
Tickets for the Quick Finish event are $50 per person through July 13. Starting July 14 tickets are $65 per person.
