About this Event

Welcome

Welcome to the CITC Impact Auction.

This event is an online auction, and not associated with a physical location. That said, you are always invited to come to Yankee Stadium to catch an NYCFC game in action! The event time you see refers to the length of time that this auction will be open.

CITC - a 501 (c)(3) charity foundation - uses the power of soccer to promote health, education and leadership development and create safe community spaces, where programming is free of charge for more than 4,000 young people each week. Funds raised during this auction will benefit programs that take place on NYCSI pitches.

All winning bids are classified as donations to City in the Community Foundation (CITC) Tax ID: 47-2573763

A Copy of CITC’s latest annual report may be obtained, upon request, from CITC or from the New York State Attorney General’s Charities Bureau. Please send all requests for CITC’s financial reports to one of the following addresses:

Donation

100% of donations made on Handbid will directly support programs led by City in the Community Foundation. City in the Community (CITC) – the 501 (c)(3) charity foundation proudly supported by New York City FC – was launched in New York City in December of 2014. With the support of fans, CITC uses the power of soccer to promote health, education and leadership development and create safe community spaces, where programming is free of charge for more than 4,000 young people each week. This builds on City Football Group’s long-standing tradition of community initiatives in NYC. In 2010, Manchester City FC and the UAE Embassy built a rooftop soccer pitch at PS72 (East Harlem’s Lexington Academy), and in 2013, New York City FC was officially launched on that same pitch. Since then, the first-of-its-kind, synthetic grass pitch has provided hundreds of young people a safe place to play soccer, and City has proudly served more than 30,000 young people across the five boroughs.
