A University of Alabama alumnus, Jackson was drafted as the 20th overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft by the Houston Texans. Jackson started 124-of-132 regular-season games and eight postseason contests during his first nine seasons with the Texans. He has totaled the fifth most passes defensed (88) in the NFL while recording the ninth most tackles (556) and 10th most tackles for loss by a defensive back (22) since entering the NFL in 2010. During his debut season with the Broncos in 2019, Jackson recorded 66 tackles (43 solo), two interceptions and one forced fumble. Jackson has a personal tie to breast cancer awareness as his mother, Rossalyn, is a two-time cancer survivor and inspired her son to help in the fight against cancer. The Kareem Jackson Foundation helps honor and support women impacted by breast cancer.
