Welcome
Thank you for supporting Eaton Senior Communities Foundation.
The online silent auction will open at 9 a.m. on Friday, September 4th. The bidding for the online silent auction will close before the live event at 5 p.m. Saturday, September 12th.
The live virtual event will begin at 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 12th and will include the announcement of silent auction winners, a brief program and a live auction. We still stream the event live on the Handbid Website and App!
Please note: You must register in order to participate in the auction. In order to register to bid, it will also require that you place a credit or debit card on file. However, you may choose other payment options (including mailing in a check) at check-out. Your card will not be charged when you register, bid or donate unless you select that as your payment option at check-out.
Ticketing Information
Anyone is free to attend and support both the silent auction and the virtual program.
However, we have the following ticket options for our supporters who would like to be more involved:
Patron Ticket & Meal Box, $150 - This ticket will purchase an 'Epic Charcuterie' box, designed by Jason Kleuckman (Eaton's Chef Extraordinaire), for you to enjoy during the program! This box includes enough food for two people. You must purchase this ticket by Saturday, September 5th.
We will deliver the boxes through no-contact delivery to people living within the following boundaries around Eaton: 285/Hampden to the South, I-70 to the North, I-25 to the East and C470/I-70 to the West. If you live outside these boundaries, we will have no-contact pick-up available the morning of the event at Eaton Senior Communities at 333 South Eaton St., Lakewood, CO 80226.
Virtual Ticket, $25 - This ticket level is a suggested donation per person that covers the expense associated with switching to a virtual platform.
You can purchase your tickets by clicking 'BUY TICKETS' above.
Frequently Asked Questions
- What am I supporting with my donations?
All proceeds from this event will benefit the dining program at Eaton Senior Communities. Eaton did a dining survey with residents in June 2019. 140 residents responded (87% of the resident population), of those, almost 75% indicated that they rely on the meal program. Many of those residents have challenges shopping and cooking. Due to the impact of Covid-19 our residents have relied more heavily on the meal program than they would in normal times. The Culinary Department has been operating with reduced staff and reduced hours since March 16, 2020 but are serving more meals. Each hour that dining is operating, we are serving more than double the number of meals that we were serving before COVID-19.
In normal circumstances, operating the meal program is a financial challenge. We struggle each year to balance our dining operations by keeping the cost increase minimal for our low-income residents while also providing our staff with well-deserved wage increase and benefits. We hope you agree that the dining services at Eaton provide a vitally important service to our residents and join us in supporting this program.
