Restore the Roar V - Cats Gone Country!!
We are excited to announce our fifth annual 2019 Restore the Roar “Adults Only” event will take place on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Showalter Field from 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM. We are reaching out to all WPHS Alumni, WPHS Parents and our Winter Park Community Members to help support Winter Park High School.
And to celebrate our 5th year in hosting this event, our Cats are going Country!
This year, we will continue to engage all WPHS organizations by providing the opportunity to direct the donations you make to any WPHS club, organization or sports program. A percentage (%) of table sales, sponsorships and silent auction items will be directed back to either the group you designate or the group that secured the donation! We are thrilled to offer this benefit to the entire school population with the goal to build community and support all WPHS students.
In addition to this benefit, the Foundation campaign is raising funds for the initiatives below, which impact the entire school:
· Phase II Student Media Center Renovations
· Further Investment in Showalter Renovations
· Student Groups & Programs
With over 600 Winter Park supporters in attendance last year, we expect an even larger crowd this year – so secure your tables and sponsorships early! Our goal is to make Winter Park High School a best in class facility and couldn’t do it without your support.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Yes, this is an adults only event. No children under the age of 21.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
There are VIP parking passes available for purchase and general onsite parking on the fields surrounding the stadium.
Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
If you have any questions, please email the WPHS Foundation at: email@example.com.
What is the attire?
Our theme for attire is Cat's Gone Country! Feel free to go all out - country style that is! Being that the event will take place outside on Showalter football field, comfort should be a priority. Jeans, flannel shirts, bandannas and boots are definitely appropriate, and of course Cowboy hats are welcome. We do suggest you refrain from wearing high heals as they might damage our artificial turf. Depending on temperature, you might also want to bring a jacket.
Is there a rain date?
Yes, in event of cancellation due to weather, the event will be rescheduled for the following Saturday!
