Monies raised from this year's Auction will go directly to our Parent Teacher Association (PTA) which serves as an important funding partner with the school. Our PTA funds important school needs when public funding is not available. On an annual basis, we purchase critical items like computers and library books. The PTA pays for teacher training and we offer much-needed funds to teachers so that they may purchase supplies for the classroom. Additionally, we support after-school clubs in areas such as math and science, and we host community events such as our Bingo and Skate nights. Finally, the PTA helps maintain our exterior space which includes an outdoor classroom, pollinator garden, Speedy's pond, and (if we raise enough) a new marquee!
As you know, Haycock has a tradition of high student achievement, a dedicated staff, and a true belief that “It Takes a Village” to develop our children. We are grateful to you all, the parents, who go above and beyond to support our school every day!
