What is the Non-Event?
For over 20 years, Crisis Assistance Ministry has been encouraging donors and supporters to forgo the cost of attending a gala, stay home and make a gift to make a difference.
Hardworking Charlotteans are facing unprecedented financial crisis and supporting this gala and silent auction will help neighbors prevent homelessness and get on the path to greater financial security.
100% of the proceeds go to help families in need.
How does the auction work?
Every week during the Non-Event, we will release new items in the silent auction. Bidding opens on Monday morning and closes at 9pm on the following Sunday.
To place a bid, you will first need to create an account by clicking “Register” above and entering your contact and credit card information. Your credit card won’t be charged unless you win an item.
You can bid by downloading the Handbid app when prompted after registering, or through the website. You will receive text notifications if you have the winning bid or are outbid on an item, and can also set a maximum bid so that your bid automatically increases up to the max when you are outbid.
