Description

Opéra Louisiane's Young People's Opera Program has been bringing free opera performances to students in the Greater Baton Rouge area for 14 years. Since COVID-19, anxiety disorders among children have doubled. Between their social isolation and lack of stimulation, children have really suffered, so the need for music in our schools continues to increase. Opéra Louisiane took opera performances into 8 schools of East Baton Rouge last season reaching 3000 students. This season Opéra Louisiane will double the impact by going into 15 schools with their children's opera, Jack and the Beanstalk. 

The schools receive this program for FREE! Help us raise $1000 per school to help pay for the program to continue to reach young people in our community!
