Believe it or not, Jamie graduated from LSU with a degree in Petroleum Engineering! Her employment with Chevron required her to frequent active drilling sites where flame retardant clothing was mandatory. The men's overalls swallowed her, so she designed and made her own and created HauteWork, the first female-focused flame-resistant clothing company in the U.S. HauteWork was acquired in 2019 by National Safety Apparel, allowing Jaime to set sights on developing her namesake brand, Queen of Sparkles, in 2021.
