Custom made wooden Quoridor game
Mrs. Offerman's second grade class included the Parmalee community this year to create their one of a kind game. This Quoridor board game was hand-made by Mrs. Offerman's father from solid black walnut and framed in solid cherry wood with a felt bottom to protect furniture it rests on. It includes an impressive jelly fish print design donated by Zuni Sign Company in Evergreen. Mrs. Offerman's talented students painted and created the outstanding game pieces. They each hand painted the dividers, used their thumbprints to create the fish as well as draw the details, and hand painted their own swimmer. No two pieces look alike, which means the lucky winner of this game will truly own an exclusive piece of art. This game of strategy is very unique in that a young person can understand and play the game right away, but the skills and strategy they will develop over time will result in a game that is challenging on multiple skill levels that even the most expert players find stimulating. It is made to last a lifetime and will be an heirloom board game for the lucky family who wins the bid. Don't miss out on this amazing display of creativity!
