Learn what Landscape Architects do! Michael Van Valkenburgh and Laura Solano will lead a hands-on day in Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates’ Brooklyn office including a personal tour of the firm’s nearby Brooklyn Bridge Park. Several landscape designers will fill out the day with demonstrations of how physical models are built and how plants are specified. Lunch will be provided with younger MVVA staff members from multidisciplinary backgrounds.
A one-night hotel stay is included.
Michael is the Charles Eliot Professor of Practice at Harvard. MVVA published ‘Brooklyn Bridge Park’ with Phaidon in 2024.
