2014, 2015 (Special Selection) & 2017 - Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon – Rutherford, California.
The 2014 Caymus growing season was another great one in Napa Valley. Our Cabernets are a blend of wines from eight of the sixteen sub-appellations – a bottling that represents complexity through judicious blending. Deep red and opulent in color with the vibrant scent of dark cherry and blackberry, subtly layered with warm notes of vanilla. The palate is explosive, bright and balanced with cassis at the center, with flourishes of cocoa and sweet tobacco.

The 2015 - Special Selection - Caymus has a blackberry hue, with scents of rich leather, cooked caramel, berries and forest floor. Youthfully forward on the palate, supple and appealing with rich concentration. Tannins are abundant, yet fine, and persist throughout a layering of textural sensation. The richness of this wine correlates with the fine dust of the Napa Valley soils. Finish expresses oak (French barrel) and Caymus fruit-forward impressions.

The 2017 Caymus has a signature style that is dark in color, with rich fruit and ripe, velvety tannins – as approachable in youth as in maturity. We farm Cabernet grapes in eight of Napa’s 16 sub-appellations, with diversification enabling us to make the best possible wine in a given year. Our Cabernet offers layered, lush aromas and flavors, including cocoa, cassis, and ripe dark berries. The 2017 embraces the ripe, lush style head on, with creamed plum, cassis, and blackberry preserve flavors gliding through, showing seamless structure and hefty dollops of mocha and ganache on the finish. Drink now through 2024.

Auction items will be made available for (i) pickup, (ii) delivery (local residents), or (iii) shipping beginning Saturday, November 21st.
(i) Pickup: Items will be available for pickup at Red Bucket between Nov 21st - Dec 5th (with the exception of Sundays).
(ii) Delivery: We will make every effort to safely deliver items to your doorstep with the help of our dedicated volunteer team. Option available to local residents living within 50-100 miles of Red Bucket.
(iii) Shipping: We will be delighted to ship your auction items to your doorstep if pickup or delivery will not accommodate your situation (standard shipping rates apply).
