The Gala is the Regional Food Bank’s largest single-day fundraising event, raising $220,000 last year thanks to our wonderful committee and the generosity of hundreds of donors and guests. We’re disappointed we will not be able to come together with everyone at the Gala this year. Maintaining the support and revenue raised through the Gala is more important than ever as the Food Bank continues to expand its service to meet the unprecedented need throughout our 23 counties. Since the start of the pandemic, the Food Bank has increased distribution by an average of 50% compared to last year, putting us on course to provide 60 million pounds of food and grocery items in 2020.
