We are delighted that Suited for Change's Annual Gala will be LIVE this year. It will be smaller, it will be safe, and we will have the chance to see you in person!

As the city and the country emerge from the pandemic, the demand for our services has increased considerably, and our services have never been more important. The pandemic's massive disruption to employment, childcare, and school routines has pushed thousands of women and their families in the region to the financial brink. With businesses and schools beginning to reopen, this moment provides an important opportunity for Suited for Change to step up with a robust response to best serve these women. Now more than ever, your support is pivotal to ensure that our city’s most vulnerable women are positioned to seize new job opportunities and reestablish their financial footing.

Join us on June 24th as we celebrate the amazing and resilient women we serve in the Washington DC area.

The silent auction, which begins on Thursday, June 10th is ongoing, and will remain open until the end of the event June 24th.

The live auction begins on June 24th at 7 p.m EDT. Anyone wishing to register, bid, make a donation or even just check out auction items, could do so at this site.

THE EVENT

Suited for Change's Annual Gala is a hybrid event this year! While Covid-19 restrictions are beginning to lift, we are still not able to host the entirety of our community in person. As a result, we decided to combine forces and offer both in-person and virtual opportunities to engage with you!

Held on June 24th from 6:30-9 pm EST at the lovely Arts Club of Washington in its beautiful garden, we promise you a fun, lively, and satisfying evening.

Enjoy a night full of music, spoken word poetry, fabulous appetizers, and of course the joy of celebrating the resilient women we serve!

Upon arrival, head to the covered courtyard and peruse the appetizers from local vendors, Astro Donuts & Fried Chicken, Nomad Dumplings, Creative Catering DC, and Dress-it-up Dressing, all while enjoying the musical talents of José Luiz Martins and Alex Hamburger.

As you browse our Silent Auction items, get a drink from our Open Bar and try the appetizers from culinary Chef Patrick Orange.

The main event begins at 7 pm. From hearing the inspiring story of our former client, Kia, to the passionate poetry of Tammarrah Addison, you will love every second of the event.

And of course, the night would not be complete without our incredible Silent and Live Auction items, as well as some exclusive in-person only Buy Now products!

To cap it all off, after spending the night bidding on our fabulous Auction, create your own Sundae, courtesy of Ben & Jerry’s! Dig into our full sundae bar complete with toppings galore and create the perfect sweet treat.

To keep our event intimate, 50 in-person tickets will be available for purchase by the general public to attend our in-person Gala at the Arts Club of Washington on June 24th from 6:30-9 pm EDT. In addition, we are offering unlimited virtual tickets to the Livestream auction portion of our Gala from 7-8 pm EDT.
