Collagraph on Arches paper, plate 7 x 4⅘ inches, sheet 12 x 9 inches. Sheet embossed with the name and address of Mr. Gorey’s residence, “Elephant House,” in the upper-left corner. Inscribed in graphite in the lower-right corner, “EAST WALL – S [or “5”].” Fine.

From an edition of 50 copies, of which 32 were hand signed and numbered. The remaining 18 prints were completed after Mr. Gorey's death and are numbered with an embossed signature. This unsigned, unnumbered copy appears to be an artist’s proof.
