Description
(Osmanthus heterophyllus 'Rotundifolius' )
It is difficult to find this gem because it is so hard to propagate. It’s a great evergreen shrub with a neat compact habit which has soft, rounded leaves instead of prickly ones common to most tea olives. It flowers in late fall with white, wonderfully fragrant flowers. Deer resistant. Mature height 8’ x 8’. Ideal in the landscape as a foundation planting of a home, in a mixed garden bed or border or a single ‘standout’ specimen in the lawn. Start with this small plant so that it can be acclimated and established early in your landscape. Auction size: 4” pot.
