This summer, Metropolis at Metrotown hosts Waste to Wonder, the largest flip flop animal art exhibit in the world handcrafted by Ocean Sole Africa. Made from 6,579 recycled flip flops, 5 at-risk Canadian life-size animal sculptures will be on display from August 8th until September 8th, 2019.
Sculptures will be available for purchase through an online auction with all proceeds donated to Variety – The Children’s Charity. Bidding on each piece will start at the preset minimum bid.
