Anthros is Committed to Humans - in Every Way

Anthros is a science-backed, beyond-ergonomic, chair that was designed with a deep understanding of the human body - and the science behind body mechanics - to be the most comfortable chair on the planet. Anthros’ team is made up of wheelchair seating experts who have applied that sitting knowledge to support all humans – made right here in Grand Rapids, MI. By utilizing a two-part back, Anthros stabilizes the pelvis allowing for maximum comfort and an industry-first FDA registration to improve posture over time.

In July, 2024, ACT teamed up with Anthros to host the first-ever ‘At The Lake Michigan’ event at the Action Watersports Wake Park in Hudsonville, MI. At The Lake Michigan is a sister event to the Anthros Foundation’s ‘At The Lake Wisconsin’ which has been taking place since 2018. The Anthros Foundation was formed to give back to the community Anthros learned from as the heart of Anthros is rooted in the team’s experience serving individuals who use wheelchairs. A percentage of Anthros’ profits and the funds raised through the At The Lake events give back to this community by providing customized wheelchairs for those in need.
