Tasting Notes - The 2015 vintage yielded one of the smallest Cabernet Sauvignon crops ever from our estate

vineyard. Our 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Moose Valley Vineyard reflects the expected vintage

intensity resulting from a small Cabernet crop ripening through a warm and dry summer.

Penetrating aromatics of red currant, raspberry patch, anise and fragrant garrigue intriguingly

rise from the glass. The palate is honed and precise, slowly revealing sinewy tiers of wild berries,

bakers chocolate, fresh cut cedar and red licorice. The solid structure of this release merits

additional years of bottle age or a rigorous decanting to allow the wine to unfurl and exhibit its

true character.

Vinification - The grapes for this wine were harvested from the Moose Valley Vineyard, east of St.
Helena, on September 14th and September 15th, 2015. They were fermented in separate
lots, on their skins for 14 days, then gently pressed and aged for 21 months in French oak
barrels. The wine was bottled in August 2017 and aged for one year in bottle before
release.
