Kyler’s Catch Seafood Market

This outstanding company originally started in New Jersey in the 30’s under the name Coastal Fisheries. It was founded by Alfred Nanfelt who worked out of his garage and purchased seafood products from the New York Fulton Fish Market. In 1946, the business settled in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Throughout the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's, New Bedford was the nation's largest fishing industry port and Coastal Fisheries became the city's largest seafood processor. The business grew and in 1996, "Kyler’s Catch Seafood Market" was opened.

In this gourmet retail market, one will find a wide array of seafood products. The market carries an extensive line of seafood and shellfish in addition to their award-winning finishing sauces and a full variety of spices, condiments, oil, marinades and flavored vinegars. The market carries everything from Cod caught on the Georges Banks to Norwegian Salmon flown in fresh from Norway. Kyler’s overwhelming requests for high quality retail seafood has led to an extensive program of shipping fresh products daily across the entire country via Federal Express.

2018 Entre Ciel et Terre Extra Brut: A suitable name for a biodynamic Champagne – between heaven and earth or Entre Ciel et Terre comes from vineyards planted on calcareous clay soils and is a blend of roughly equal parts Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir. It is aged 4 years sur latte and bottled with a modest dosage of 4.55g/L.

2019 Fonterenza Bianco Le Ragazze : Fonterenza Bianco Le Ragazze is a natural white wine macerated with its skins and produced by the Fontereza winery. The grape varieties vinified are Vermentino, Trebbiano, Malvasia and Grechetto, and it is rated as an IGT Toscana Bianco wine.

2020 Domaine Didon Bourgogne Aligote : From Burgundy’s only village appellation for Aligoté, Naïma and David Didon are onto something here with their biodynamic dream. 40 year old vines from the steep eastern side of the vineyard. Direct pressed to old barrels for 12 months. Great farming and no additions. Clean, classic and natural.

No chemicals are used in any of the Envínate vineyards, all parcels are picked by hand, the grapes are foot-trodden, and the wines are fermented exclusively with wild yeasts, with a varying proportion of whole grape clusters included. For aging, the wines are raised in old barrels and concrete, and sulfur is only added at bottling if needed. The results are some of the most exciting and honest wines being produced in Spain today.
