Hike Your City and Support UEC
Join us the week of Saturday, September 25th for the Urban Ecology Center’s 7th annual HKE MKE presented by Rotary Club of Milwaukee! Enjoy a family-friendly hike through any of our three beautiful Milwaukee parks while raising funds to support the Center's mission of connecting people to nature.
How to Get Started:
1. Choose Your Hike
View and purchase one of our many guided hikes by selecting "browse items" at the top of this page. There are more than 40 Guided Hikes at our three branches for you to choose from! If you don't already have a handbid account, you'll need to create one to purchase your hike. Hikes that are priced at $30 include admission for one adult and one child. Hikes that are $25 admit one participant.
2. Create Your Fundraising Page
Create your personal fundraising page by selecting the “become a fundraiser” button at the top of this page. Participants who raise $25 will earn their HKE MKE t-shirt! Additional fundraising prizes include:
- $75 - UEC Recycled Coffee Ground Travel Mug
- $150 - UEC Bento Box with Bamboo Lid & Utensils
- $250 - UEC Insulated Backpack Cooler
- $500 - UEC Stadium Seat
3. Share Your Page
Share your fundraising page with your friends and family! Share buttons are located directly on your personal page so sharing to your social networks is quick and easy. The tax-deductible donations you fundraise help us connect tens of thousands of urban youth and adults to nature.

Due to the limited availability and nature of the event, all donations are non-refundable. Hikes are rain or shine.
