Lee and Penny Anderson have a deep and enduring love for exceptional wine and cuisine, and decided to merge these two passions in the founding of Korta Katarina.

Pleasantly removed from the busy tourist center of Dubrovnik yet easily accessible, Villa Korta Katarina & Winery, a Relais & Châteaux member, is in the beautiful and historic Pelješac Peninsula region surrounded by the glistening Adriatic Sea. The name Korta Katarina combines the kortas or gardens of Croatia and the name of founders Lee and Penny Anderson’s daughter.

Golden-greenish color in the glass provides an appealing appearance of the Pošip wine. It has an intense citrus scent, mixed with white stone fruits and field flowers. Full and delicious, with gentle bitterness. Extremely fresh and easy drinking, dry wine.

A special selection of the best grapes from the vineyards of Čara, located on Korčula Island, allows for a limited series of only 1,900 bottles. The American's appearance has a beautiful golden hue and citrus guided touches with the flavors of baked apple, quince, hint of vanilla and toasted bread. The rich mouthfeel is harmonized by a lasting thread of bright acidity that lifts and maintains freshness on the long finish with flavors of dried almonds and apricots.

Mild pink color with an intense aroma of red berries and roses. Painted with a dry refreshing brush of dominant strawberry, raspberry and cherry aromas on the palette. Stylistically very modern interpretation of rose wine from best wine roots. Fruity and floral notes intertwined with an expressive warm scent of the south makes this wine an excellent nutrition partner.

Tastes rich, full-bodied, firm in structure, with an abundance of cherry sweetness at the finish and some dark chocolate. After opening, the wine gets wonderful forest notes of sour black-bitter oak, crumpled blueberry bush leaves and forest soil.
1 Bottle of 2010 Plavac Mali
Lively, full and almost opaque by color this full-bodied Plavac Mali is smooth, balanced and elegant. Dynamic, with recognizable aromatic profile of ripe flavors, dried and stewed fruit, followed by Mediterranean herbs and spices. This wine has strong potential for aging.
