About the Arizona Burn Foundation
Arizona Burn Foundation has been serving the Grand Canyon State and its residents since 1967,providing education, emotional support, financial assistance, and leadership development programs to help those who’ve encountered the devastating effects of burn injuries. From the time of a survivor’s injury through the rest of their life, Arizona Burn Foundation supports burn survivors and their families. We bring them through recovery until they no longer identify as a victim, but instead as a human being of intrinsic value and worth.
About Camp Courage
Since 1991, The Arizona Children's Burn Camp, Camp Courage, has supported the emotional needs of children who have suffered sever burn injuries. Today, youth burn survivors from Arizona and neighboring states attend this annual therapeutic camp at no cost to their families, thanks to generous donors and partners. activities include horseback riding, mountain biking, fishing, swimming, arts and crafts, tie dye, high ropes, rappelling, therapeutic equine experiences, and more.
2024 Camp Theme: Olympics- Go For Gold!
This year’s Camp Courage theme is “Olympics: Go for Gold!” and it’s all about celebrating the strength, determination, and unity that make our campers true champions. Camp Courage will be a gold-medal-worthy experience for our incredible campers as they are inspired to believe in themselves, conquer their challenges, and embrace the Olympic spirit of friendship, excellence, respect, and courage. You are invited to be part of an extraordinary adventure as we transform our campground into a bustling Olympic Village, where young burn survivors will discover their inner champions and strive for gold!
Camp Courage: Go For Gold will be taking place from June 2-8, 2024. As a Sponsor you will be able to join us for Sponsor Day on June 7, 2024. We hope to see you there!
