Welcome to The Edward Gorey Charitable Trust's début silent auction, being held in coordination with our Summer 2023 Cocktail Party fundraiser! To support our ongoing mission, we are offering 20 lots we hope will appeal to a wide variety of Gorey collectors.
Since 2000, the Trust has maintained Mr. Gorey's dedication to funding organizations benefiting animal welfare, from pet rescue shelters and elephant sanctuaries to research and advocacy institutions for bats and invertebrates. In 2019, the Trust recommitted itself to these efforts and began a campaign to bring Mr. Gorey's original art and papers to a state of proper conservation and organization so that his creative legacy might also be preserved.
