Spend time with Woodvale Farms owner and staff to learn about everything on the farm! Choose from your favorites for a 3 hour experience:

• Meet our Horses: with grooming / feeding / mucking exercise
• Raising chickens (laying hens) for egg production and enjoyment: Spend time with the chickens, give them some treats, and collect eggs for tomorrow’s breakfast.
• Composting Galore: what would you do with 1.3 million pounds of manure /year? Each horse at Woodvale makes about 55 lbs of manure each and every day! Learn how to turn this huge challenge into black gold. Take home as much compost as you can!
• Going Solar: the farm makes enough electricity with its solar system to power 3 houses, 3 barns, and all the electrical needs around the farm....only using sunlight! Learn about the new government support to help more of us go solar, stop using fossil fuels, and reduce the effects of climate change.
• Bees and beekeeping: learn about one of nature’s most amazing and productive critters with guidance from our own farm-hosted beekeepers. Learn about the incredible life of queens, drones, and worker bees. Take home some Woodvale honey!
