Proceeds will benefit the Museum of Outdoor Arts' Design and Build Program

Since 1991, MOAā€™s Design and Build arts education program features outreach partnerships, a paid summer internship for emerging artists, Fellowship opportunities, an annual design contest for national participants, and alumni engagement projects.

Design and Build projects create temporary outdoor public art installations as well as site-specific exhibitions developed collaboratively by summer interns working under the mentorship of Design and Build Artist Fellows in partnership with academic institutions in the Denver Metro area. This yearā€™s Design and Build internship projects include a series of installations for Marjorie Park created with 2022 host institution, University of Colorado Denver- College of Arts and Media, as well as an 9-artist mural project for the East Alley Artwalk at Fiddlerā€™s Green Amphitheatre, which showcases some alumni projects, and a national design competition for art, architecture, landscape architecture, industrial design, and other creatively focused student programs.

From concept to installation, students must consider all elements of the public art process.
