The 7/20 Memorial Foundation was established to honor those whose lives were lost or changed forever as a result of the tragic events of July 20th 2012. Together with the city of Aurora, the foundation is creating a memorial garden where the community and those impacted by tragedy can go to reflect and remember their loved ones, gather strength and feel peace and hope.
Our focus is adding to the unique and special features of the garden with benches and artwork. The garden will be an expansion to the Municipal Center Waterwise Garden located at East Alameda Parkway and Chambers Road.
We also strive to be an inspiration of strength and resilience to others who have been impacted by not only mass violence, but any personal tragedy. Once the memorial is in place, we hope to find a way to pay the love forward that has been so generously given to us.
