UAB National Alumni Society

The UAB National Alumni Society is proud to partner with our schools and colleges in raising over $25.6 million dollars from alumni to provide student scholarships in 2021-2022.

Our networks are spread across the country and around the globe, giving our alumni an opportunity to stay connected and support UAB regardless of where they live.

There are more than 150,000 UAB graduates living around the world. It is our goal to see each of these graduates join us in strengthening the legacy of our great university.

Mission Statement

THE MISSION of the UAB National Alumni Society is to support the University in its pursuit of excellence in teaching, research, and public service and to create, foster, and nurture a mutually beneficial relationship between the University, its students and alumni.

THE PURPOSE of this organization shall be to promote the welfare and excellence of The University of Alabama at Birmingham and to assist in the development and support of a mutually beneficial relationship between UAB and its alumni. The society is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes for the promotion of UAB and its alumni as a 501(c)(3).
