This Veteran's Day, help us bring hope to homeless and hungry men, women, families, and veterans! Starting November 9th, bid on more than 100 packages in our online auction: home decor, family packages, trips, sports items, and more!
Register for the auction FREE by clicking register now. No credit card is required to participate. Please invite your friends and family to register as well, and help us continue our important work - sheltering & feeding homeless men, women, and families, moving clients into permanent housing, feeding children through the Backpack Program, and feeding community members through daily meals, food boxes, and a Mobile Food Pantry!
Mission of Hope Banquet:
On November 11th, dine with us at the Alerus Center as you hear about the life-changing work happening at the Mission! Clients share their real-life experiences, plus get a look at the Mission's work feeding and assisting families during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are honored to present this year's guest speaker: Gulf War veteran, Purple Heart recipient, and former Grand Forks resident Tony Drees.
Banquet tickets are $55 each, purchasable at www.northlandsrescuemission.org/banquet. Virtual tickets are available for $20/family. Tickets are NOT required to participate in the auction. Dinner & Program begin at 7 PM on Thursday, November 11th at the Alerus Center. Auction items will be on display at the banquet (5 PM - 6:45 PM) - enjoy hors d'oeuvres and bid while there!
Auction Payment & Redemption Instructions:
Payment may be completed right here on HandBid, or upon pickup/delivery of your items. Once the auction closes at 11 pm on Nov. 11th, any packages you've won will be added to your HandBid invoice. To view your invoices, click "Invoice" in the top right of your screen. You may add a credit/debit card and pay there.
Items will be available for pickup at Northlands Rescue Mission on weekdays from 8 am - 6 pm, starting on November 12th. Please come to door number 2 (with the green awning) to pick up your items. If you would like to pay via check, cash, or offline credit card you may do so at this time. A receipt will be emailed to you upon payment. If possible, please call us at (701) 772-6600 ext. 202 before you arrive to pick up your items. That will give us time to get everything ready for you!
If you live in Grand Forks or East Grand Forks and would like your items delivered, please purchase one "Delivery Fee" item from the auction page. We will call you to arrange a date/time for delivery. If you need your item(s) shipped to you, please call us at (701) 772-6600 ext. 212. We ask that you cover the cost of shipping & handling.
