Annaliese Anderson is a native Charlottean and graduate of the University of North Carolina. After homeschooling her five children for twelve years, she felt it was time to embark on a new season and share her passion to create with others. In November 2018, Stone and Strap was launched, a small boutique offering creative leather jewelry and accessories. About four months into the business, she started experimenting with using leather to create small abstract art pieces. The demand for this new form of art grew quickly and has added a new dimension to her creative business. She loves the challenge of sourcing leather colors from remnants bins, finding pieces with unique natural hide edging, and incorporating them in layered three dimensional abstract landscape pieces that reflect the beauty found in our creation.
