I describe myself as a studio painter, however painting from life heavily influences my work. Recent travels have taken me to Italy and France to paint on location - the beauty there is so intoxicating. Being present with my subject wows me with little nuances of color and my process allows me to communicate that with a brush stroke and palette knife. Bringing joy to others through my work gives me so much pleasure and it serves my nurturing ways, well.
