Russ Dean is the father of two MPHS graduates, Jackson (’15) and Bennett (’17). He and his wife, Amy, have been the co-pastors of Park Road Baptist in Charlotte for 21 years. He’s been a woodworker for years, and started making bowls about a decade ago, crafting them using a chainsaw and other shaping and sanding tools. When he’s not in the pulpit or in the woodshop, you’ll find him on the lake, barefooting or slalom waterskiing.
