I started sketching and oil painting classes when I was 18 years old in Iran. I moved to America when I was 21 years old; I studied interior design at a local college and got my 2-year degree. I began learning art under Andy Braitman in 2019. The experience of painting became a great escape from the complexities of life. As I learned to create abstract senses of peacefulness. I enjoy using different mixed media to create multiple layers of translucent colors through the process of scratching, distressing, and dissolving. I grew up traveling across the world and visiting several museums which gave me a lot of inspiration as an artist. I have lived in charlotte, North Carolina where I stay busy as a proud mom of two young men.
