Give Kids a Smile Hawaii (GKAS) is a program of the Hawaii Dental Association Foundation, whose mission is to improve oral health by supporting community access to oral care, educational programs, and other charitable community outreach programs.
Since Hawaii had its first GKAS event in 2014, over 3,500 kids have been educated by over 400 dedicated volunteers. In 2022 alone, over 50 Hawaii Dental Association member dentists provided over $15,000 in dental care! From teeth cleanings to nutrition counseling to goodie bags…GKAS has brought bright smiles to the keiki of Hawaii.
