Welcome
Join the Maryville Alcoa Animal Rescue Center for our Second Annual Masquerade Ball at the Capital Theatre October 21st at 5:00PM.
The Maryville/Alcoa Animal Rescue Center (MAARC). MAARC is a 501c3 founded in 2018 with a vision of creating a No Kill environment in Alcoa and Maryville. MAARC’s founding principle was, and is, to find every animal a safe, happy forever home.
We:
• Are a true grassroots rescue
• Currently operate on a 100% volunteer basis
• Currently operate with an annual budget of under $200,000
• Make every effort to avoid euthanasia by following the Best Friends Animal Society no kill practices and the No Kill Equation
• Pull animals from the city shelter and care for them until they are adopted.
Since it's inception in 2018 the organization has served over 1600 dogs and cats.
This is why we are asking for your help.
Our goal is to raise $30,000 that will be used to house local homeless animals, provide their vet care, and to spay and neuter every animal that passes through our doors.
Winning Bids and purchases will be considered donations to the organization.
