Welcome to the 2024 Equestrian Therapy Kentucky Derby Festival. This is our major fundraiser of the year; the funds raised assist us in continuing our mission of providing equine facilitated activities and therapies to people with disabilities in Allen and the surrounding 10 county area.
We hope you will join us in person on Saturday May 4th, 2024 for our Horse and Live auctions. Our doors will open at 3:30 p.m. Post time is approximately 6:45 p.m. We have many wonderful silent auction items up for bid on Handbid coming soon, with bidding remaining open until the end of the festivities on May 4. Our Horse and Live auctions will take place on May 4th at Fassett Farm and you must be present to bid on any of these items, however, you can preview the Live Auction items on Handbid and Horses are available for viewing on Handbid the week of Derby after the post positions are drawn. Our Horse auction offers you the opportunity to be an owner for a day of a Derby Contender! If you are a winning bidder on the silent auction items and you are not present at the Derby Festival, you may pick up your items Tuesday May 7th, through Friday May 10th, from 10:00 A.M. UNTIL 4:00 P.M. .
All tickets and sponsorships include admission to the event, food and drink. We have a Derby hat contest and a Dapper Dan contest for the gentlemen. This year we have live entertainment following the race: Shifferly Road Band, with additional food and drink. If you are unable to attend the earlier festivities, there will be a separate ticket price of $50.00 for the After Party with gates opening at 8:00 P.M.
You must be 21 years of age and older to purchase a ticket and attend either event. If you are purchasing tickets for a group and want to reserve a table, please let us know when you purchase your tickets or contact us at 419-657-2700 or etpfarm@etpfarm.org to reserve your table. Please note that sponsorships and tickets may be purchased on Handbid.
