Description

The Splendid Sampler was a year long quilt along hosted by friends Pat Sloan and Jane Davidson. They invited 84 designers to create 6" finished quilt blocks for a mystery that consists of 100 spectacular blocks of all different techniques from pieced, to applique, to embroidery, to English Paper Piecing (EPP) and paper piecing. The label lists the names of the makers and their blocks! This layout is a one of a kind quilt using 38 of the 100 blocks set with sashing to form alternate stars in blue and gray.
