Description

This quilt was inspired by an 1880s small sampler quilt in our collection here at the Virginia Quilt Museum. This reproduction was made by a group of “VQM Alumnae” including Jenny Bolt, Paula Caldwell, Hazel Carter, Beverley Evans, Gloria Comstock, Paula Golden, and Bunnie Jordan. Judith Shuey and Neva Hart also offered additional support to this project. Paula Caldwell did the machine quilting in the style of the original.
