Description
Made with care and love, the story of each sculpture begins as a flip flop on someone’s foot. Thrown out and found on the shores of Africa, Ocean Sole Africa collects the flip flops, cleans them, compresses the flip flops, and carves them into beautiful art to be revived again with love. Through the process, oceans are cleaned, jobs are provided, masterpieces are made, and in the end, you get something truly special and unique.
Please note: Each sculpture is a unique, hand-made work of art, and may contain small imperfections. They must be accepted as is. No exchanges or refunds. For an honest representation of each work, we encourage all potential bidders to visit the exhibit.
This one-of-a-kind Grizzly Bear (standing) sculpture is 3.5 feet long, 7.5 feet high and 3.5 feet wide. It weighs 46 kilos.
Fine Print
For the purpose of this exhibit, each sculpture has a custom-designed platform. Should the winning bidder(s) choose, the platforms can be added to the package free of additional auction fee. Fencing is not included.
Sculptures could be installed in an outdoor location, however, the statues will eventually deteriorate at a faster rate if exposed to direct sunlight (fading) or rain.
Metropolis will include hosting of sculptures at the property. Winning bidder(s) will then have 30 days after end of auction to plan directly with Lukas One Productions for direct delivery of statues. Metropolis will cover cost of removal from exhibit site, and transportation to accessible local warehouse space. The winning bidder(s) will be responsible for costs to transport to their final destination and installation, etc.
