The Western Region Burn Conference is a premier professional conference designed for burn care medical professionals from the 13 western states. This annual event serves as a platform for education, presentations, and networking within the field of burn care.

Note: If you would like to book rooms outside of the provided room block dates, Margaritaville Resort has requested that you book as many nights as possible through the Conference Room Block, then book a second reservation on Margaritaville's website for your additional days. When you check-in at the resort, the front desk will merge those two reservations so you remain in one room for the duration of your stay.

ADVANCED BURN LIFE SUPPORT (ABLS) COURSE
The Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS) course takes place Wednesday, June 19 from 7:30am - 4:30pm and provides knowledge for immediate care of the burn patient up to the first 24 hours post-injury. ABLS also supports emergency and mass casualty preparedness focusing on triage, burn survivability, patient transportation, and patient treatment. ABLS is relevant to a wide range of professionals who treat individuals with burn injuries including first responders, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and physicians. Upon successful completion, all providers will receive a certificate of completion (renewable after 4 years). Physicians and nurses are also eligible for continuing education credit.
NOTE: Registering for the ABLS course does NOT grant you registration to Western Region Burn Conference (WRBC) sessions. If you would like to attend WRBC sessions, please complete a registration specific to that conference in addition to your ABLS registration. Thank you!
ABLS INSTRUCTOR COURSE
The ABLS Instructor Course takes place Wednesday, June 19 from 7:30am - 12:00pm and provides participants successfully completed the with the knowledge to deliver ABLS Provider content and education through mini simulations, case studies, and micro-teaching sessions. This is a four-hour course designed for those physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants who have experience in daily patient management of burn injuries. The American Burn Association maintains the records of all persons who take the ABLS Instructor Course and provides a certificate of completion as an ABLS Certified Instructor.
NOTE: Registering for the ABLS Instructor Course does NOT grant you registration to Western Region Burn Conference (WRBC) sessions. If you would like to attend WRBC sessions, please complete a registration specific to that conference in addition to your ABLS registration. Thank you!
