Artist: Mary Berry
Maine has abundant landscapes that catch our aesthetic senses. Mary looks for color, pattern and design that make our places unique and she seeks to bring those elements into a pleasing composition.
Form and color are also part of her working career. After graduating from college , with a major in design, she worked in Portland architectural offices for 25 years.
Mary exhibited oils and acrylics in various locations in Brunswick, Falmouth, Yarmouth and Freeport, as well as the auctions and private collections. She studied painting with Janet Conlon, Bonnie Spiegal, Tina Ingraham, Sarah Knock, Lucy Barber, Charles·sovek, Frank Webb, Diane Dalke, Jon Imber, Don Demers, Carolyn Walton, Colin Paige and Phil Frey.
